Be a part of The Washington Report

Finseca wants The Washington Report to be Influencer members’ first stop for timely, advanced education. Finseca is committed to continuously improving the quality and usefulness of The Washington Report to meet that goal. Influencer members have two ways to help ensure the quality of The Washington Report.

  1. Serve on the 2023 Washington Report Working Group. If you’d like to serve on the 2023 Washington Report Working Group, please email Megan Bronner at mbronner@finseca.org by March 24, 2023. Working Group members can expect to spend approximately 90 minutes per month giving feedback, helping identify possible authors, and providing insights into what is most relevant and interesting to their fellow members.
  2. Submit feedback on each report. Each report will allow you to provide feedback directly to Finseca’s staff, which is shared with the Working Group.

FAQs

You will receive all The Washington Report publications via your email account. You can also find these publications in the Finseca Resource Library or Learning Center

Finseca intends The Washington Report publications to be a valuable member resource. To help ensure this benefit is reserved for our Influencer members, you cannot personally download the publication. However, we know sharing The Washington Report can be valuable for connecting with your Centers of Influence. To balance protecting content with the usefulness of sharing, you can request a personalized copy of any publication by emailing learning@finseca.org. The Finseca team will respond within two business days to your request.

The newest iteration of The Washington Report seeks to be as prior versions. The publication schedule is different from the past, but the topics and primary sources we are drawing from are the same as in prior versions of The Washington Report. As Finseca transitions to this new version of the Report, we encourage and deeply appreciate our members’ feedback. You can give feedback on each report, or reach out directly to Megan Bronner at mbronner@finseca.org to share your thoughts.

Finseca works with two law firms to write The Washington Report. Jonathan M. Forster, Partner at BakerHostetler, is the lead author for the Wealth Transfer Edition. James E. Earle, Partner at Troutman Pepper, is the lead author for the Business Uses Edition. Megan Bronner, VP of Member Benefits & Education at Finseca, is the primary staff contact.
