Pre-Hill Day Reception (Required for Hill Day Participants)
Begin your Hill Day experience at this essential pre-conference reception. Participants will pick up their Hill Day packets, review schedules, and have the opportunity to ask questions in preparation for their visits to Capitol Hill. This reception also provides time to meet your Sherpa leader and connect with your group, ensuring everyone is prepared and aligned for a successful day of advocacy and engagement on the Hill.

Shuttle buses will continuously loop between the Grand Hyatt and the Hill.
Day on the Hill
To kick-off Finseca’s Advanced Markets & LAMP 2027, participants are invited to join us on the Hill! Our voice is critically important to shaping public policy. If you haven’t joined us for a Hill Day, yet, this is your chance! Finseca will schedule meetings for you.

What is the Joint Day on the Hill?
The Joint Day on the Hill is where members from both Finseca and NAIFA come together in Washington, D.C., to meet with policymakers and advocate for policies that expand access to financial advice and advance financial security for the American people.
Why are Finseca and NAIFA holding a Joint Day on the Hill?
Finseca and NAIFA are joining forces to present a uniform and consistent industry message while maximizing our collective presence on Capitol Hill. While each organization brings unique strengths, both share a common mission: To ensure all Americans have access to financial security professionals who can help them plan and secure their financial futures.
Do I need to be a member of both organizations to attend?
No. You do not need to be a member of both Finseca AND NAIFA to attend the Joint Day on the Hill.
When and where is the Joint Day on the Hill taking place?
Tuesday, May 19, 2026, starting at 8:30 am ET in Washington, D.C.
Is there a cost to attend?
Finseca participants: To participate in the Joint Hill Day, Finseca attendees must be registered for Finseca’s Advanced Markets event. Registration details, including what is included, will be provided through the event website.
NAIFA participants: The Joint Day on the Hill is held on the second day of NAIFA’s 2026 annual Congressional Conference.
Will meetings be scheduled for me?
Yes. Meetings with congressional offices will be coordinated in advance. Participants will receive schedules and guidance to ensure meetings are productive, well-organized, and aligned with the key policy priorities.
Will training be provided ahead of time?
Yes. Participants will have access to webinars, talking points, and resources to ensure everyone is aligned, informed, and confident heading into meetings. No prior advocacy experience is required.
Finseca attendees: Finseca will host a “Know Before You Go” webinar that will cover everything, including talking points, dress code, and how to navigate Capitol Hill. Finseca will reach out closer to the event and when more information including webinar dates and times becomes available. Attendees must arrive by May 18 to receive their materials and participate in a pre-hill day reception.
NAIFA participants: NAIFA will host a “Know Before You Go” Webinar that will cover everything, including talking points, dress code, and how to navigate Capitol Hill. This webinar will be recorded and shared with registrants. NAIFA will reach out closer to the event and when more information including webinar dates and times becomes available.
Can participants share their experiences on social media?
Absolutely. Participants are encouraged to share their experience and help amplify the collective message.
Who will I meet with?
The Finseca & NAIFA teams will schedule meetings with Members of Congress and staff from your state’s Congressional delegation.
Finseca Members: Please provide your home address when registering for the Joint Hill Day, as this is required to schedule meetings with your elected officials. As constituents, there is no one Congress wants to hear from more about the issues that directly impact the profession and the millions of families and businesses that depend on our products and expertise.

Is there a penalty if I cancel my Joint Day on the Hill?
Finseca participants will be charged $250 if you cancel after April 2 or if you do not attend.
