Finseca and NAIFA—together strengthening our industry’s voice on Capitol Hill.
For the first time ever, Finseca and NAIFA are standing together on Capitol Hill, not as separate organizations, but as one united profession. While each organization brings unique strengths, both share a common mission: To ensure all Americans have access to financial security professionals who can help them plan and secure their financial futures.

The Finseca Advanced Markets annual meeting is a great opportunity for members of our industry to visit Capitol Hill with our Congress men and women to protect our interests, and the promises we make to our clients. I’m excited to be back in DC next week for the 2026 meeting, and hoping to get another yearly picture in front of the Capitol Building like this one from 2019 with Scott Budriss #finseca #advancedmarkets #nationscapital #capitolhill

It is always great heading to Capitol Hill to meet with our elected representatives and their key staff members. I was proud to lead a group which included Donald Curristan Scott Paine Blake Barens and Tucker Stone to educate the members and their staff on issues related to financial security and to tell them about Finseca and all the important work they do. It was a particularly great honor to finally have a chance to meet with Congresswoman Kim who represents Laguna Hills (which is where I live).

Amazing experience this week at the Finseca Advanced Markets Conference advocating for our profession on Capitol Hill. The work of the financial services industry is so crucial to the security, stability, and happiness of all Americans. Being able to connect with policymakers and colleagues to discuss the issues impacting our industry and the work we do was an honor. So many great takeaways and experiences, it has been one of the best moments of my career so far.

This week we had the privilege of #advocating for #FINSECA in Washington DC and on Capitol Hill. The #opportunity to attend this conference each year is so incredibly important as we partner together with our newest hires, colleagues, customers and friends and reinforce the importance of the services we provide every day. It is #inspirational to feel the palatable passion we all have for what we do as we discussed important issues impacting our industry today.
I am so #grateful to Andrew Bucklee, CLU, ChFC, CFP for the opportunity to be a part of these efforts, to bring in new #members through the #FINSECAFutures program and I feel so #privileged to work for #LincolnFinancial, a proud sponsor and supporter of our membership in this incredible, diverse and innovative community of experts and professionals!
