Monica Rhee is a Director for Pacific Life’s Advanced Designs Unit, a highly recognized team of advanced market experts in the life insurance industry. She conducts research and composes marketing materials and specimen agreements on advanced planning strategies. She also prepares and conducts continuing education and marketing seminars on advanced market topics such as estate, charitable, and business planning. In addition, Monica supports and coordinates Pacific Life’s Business Insurance Solutions (BIZ) Platform, which is designed to provide life insurance producers with all the resources they need to successfully sell life insurance in the business market.

Monica joined Pacific Life’s Advanced Designs Unit in 2008. Prior to that, she was in the financial industry working for Pacific Investment Management Company, State Street, and Wells Fargo. She has also focused her practice on intellectual property, patent law, and maritime litigation.

Monica graduated with honors from the University of California at Irvine with degrees in Biology (Applied Ecology) and Environmental Analysis and Design. Monica earned her Juris Doctorate degree (J.D.) from Loyola Law School, and her Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in taxation from Chapman University Law school. While at Loyola, she received several awards and volunteered as a public counsel advocate and IRScertified volunteer. Monica is a member of the State Bar of California, United States District Court (Central District of California), American Bar Association, and the Orange County Bar Association.

Outside of work, Monica enjoys spending time with her husband, Eugene, and daughters, Olivia and Kate. She is also a volunteer for the Constitutional Rights Foundation of Orange County.
