Mr. Ketchum is the Founder, Managing Partner, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer of Sound Point Capital Management, LP, a ~$45 billion credit asset manager. A veteran with over 35 years’ experience in the credit markets, Mr. Ketchum founded Sound Point in 2008. Previously, he was Global Head of Media & Telecom Investment and Corporate Banking for Banc of America Securities (“BofA”), where he was a member of the Global Investment Banking Leadership Team. As Global Head of Media & Telecom Banking, Mr. Ketchum was responsible, together with a risk partner, for a multi-billion-dollar portfolio of bank and bridge loans. Prior to joining BofA, he was a Managing Director at UBS in the TMT Investment Banking Group. From 1990 to 2000, he was employed in the Investment Banking Department of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, most recently as a Managing Director. Mr. Ketchum is on the Board of Trustees of the New York Police & Fire Widows’ & Children’s Benefit Fund, City Squash, St. George’s School and the Museum of the City of New York. Mr. Ketchum earned a B.A. from New England College, magna cum laude, and an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School.
