Capitol Hill Day

Hill Day gives members the opportunity to step beyond the day-to-day, share their stories, connect with policymakers, and help ensure Washington understands the work our profession does every day for families and businesses across the country.

Unreasonable Hospitality Workshop

Only the first 150 event registrants will receive access. Led by Will Guidara’s team, who took Eleven Madison Park to the #1 restaurant in the world, this four-hour, hands-on session is built on the framework from his New York Times bestseller, Unreasonable Hospitality. You’ll learn to design an experience clients can’t stop talking about, and why generosity builds your bottom line. Add your ticket at checkout.

Networking, trends, strategies, & more

No fluff. Real-world strategies that save time, grow revenue, and help your day-to-day.

Who Attends

Leaders and Managers

General agents, managing partners, firm principals, and field leaders responsible for the growth of a team, an agency, or a firm. If your work is recruiting the next generation, developing the people you already have, and building an organization that runs well, this is your room.

Including expertise in: recruiting and selection, leadership development, retention and career progression, distribution and growth strategy, firm operations, case design and client experience, and practice management.

Wealth Managers

Financial security professionals who build plans for families and businesses: life insurance, annuities, and investments in one strategy rather than three separate conversations.

Including expertise in: wealth management, retirement income and distribution planning, protection planning, business planning, and integrating insurance and investment solutions in a single practice.

Elite Advisors and Advanced Planners

Advanced planners working on today’s most complex cases. You work with business owners and high-net-worth families where the strategy has to hold up against tax counsel, a CPA, and a balance sheet, and where the design matters as much as the product.

Including expertise in: advanced sales concepts, business succession planning, executive benefits, premium financing, estate and wealth transfer strategies, closely held business planning, integrated risk management, and retirement income and distribution planning.

Multiline Professionals

Multiline agents and agency principals growing the life insurance and financial services side of a practice built on deep community relationships. A curated content track helps you move upmarket while respecting the unique aspects of your business model.

Including expertise in: moving upmarket in life insurance, opening investment and estate planning conversations with existing clients, recruiting and team building, practice management, and the technology behind both.

Brokerage Professionals

BGA principals, brokerage leaders, and case managers who support producers across carriers. You compete on the strength of your underwriting expertise, your case design, and the experience you deliver to the advisors who place business with you.

Including expertise in: underwriting and case design, carrier and product strategy, advanced sales support, recruiting and developing producers, operations and technology, and firm growth and succession.

Hill Day is a big part of why I started attending Advanced Markets. The opportunity to witness firsthand the impact you can have with a member of Congress is powerful.

Chip Van Dusen

The annual conference is the best. I can’t wait to get back there. They have the brightest minds, the top producers, and the best speakers.

Jim Kaplan

Advanced Markets is where I get to be in a room full of all my heroes and the advisors I’ve looked up to my whole career.

Keith Wagner
