Kirk Gravely

Kirk R. Gravely, ASA, MAAA® was elected President and Chief Operating Officer of Security Mutual Life in November, 2019. In July, 2021, he was elected President and Chief Executive Officer. Kirk was also elected to the Board of Directors of Security Mutual Life in July, 2021. Additionally, Kirk serves as Chairman of the Board of Security Administrators, Inc., a subsidiary of Security Mutual Life that provides pension administration services to small- and medium-sized companies. Kirk is responsible for strategic oversight of organizational objectives and establishing and implementing policy to the benefit of the mission of the organization.

Kirk is a highly experienced, successful and well-regarded actuary and business leader. Prior to joining Security Mutual Life, he served as President of Allen Bailey & Associates, Inc., and provided actuarial and management consulting services to numerous insurance companies across the country including product development and pricing, financial analysis and cash flow testing, mergers and acquisitions, and other related items.

Designated as a Qualified Actuary by the New York State Department of Financial Services, Kirk has performed insurance company examinations for New York and other state insurance departments.
