Jeff Ricchetti co-founded Ricchetti, Inc. in 2001. In his 35 years as an attorney and federal lobbyist, Mr. Ricchetti has developed an extensive background in health, tax, insurance, intellectual property and pharmaceutical issues. In the five years preceding the formation of Ricchetti, Inc., Mr. Ricchetti was a lobbyist and consultant for Podesta & Mattoon, Ricchetti & Associates, and Public Strategies Washington. Before becoming an independent consultant, Mr. Ricchetti lobbied on health and tax issues for the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association and served as the organization’s Director for Legislative Affairs.
During his twenty-seven years in Washington, Mr. Ricchetti has represented a variety of national trade associations and Fortune 500 companies, including the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association, the Health Insurance Association of America, the American Hospital Association, the American Council of Life Insurers, the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting, the Magazine Publishers of America, the American Gastroenterological Association, the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists, Pfizer, Eli Lilly, Novartis, Sanofi Aventis, Boehring Ingelheim, Eisai, Intellectual Ventures, Navinet, Health Management Associates, Boston Scientific, Siemens, and Dow Chemical.
Prior to working in Washington, Mr. Ricchetti practiced law for eight years in Cleveland, Ohio for the law firms of Waldheger, Coyne & Associates and McDonald, Hopkins, Burke & Haber. He represented doctors and other health professionals on health, tax, corporate and employee benefits issues.
Mr. Ricchetti graduated with honors from Miami University in Ohio and received his Juris Doctorate from the Georgetown University Law Center. He is admitted to practice law in Ohio.
