Washington, D.C., June 22, 2022 – Finseca issued the following statement today regarding the Senate Finance Committee mark up and passage of the bipartisan Enhancing American Retirement Now (Earn Act). Finseca’s mission is to enable more Americans to achieve financial security, including in retirement.
“Helping more Americans achieve their retirement security starts with a financial plan and having access to a financial security professional,” says Marc Cadin, CEO of Finseca. “The EARN Act provides important tools to help families save more, help businesses provide retirement benefits to their employees, and plug holes in our retirement infrastructure as a country. We applaud the leadership of Chairman Wyden (D-OR) and Ranking Member Crapo (R-ID), the entire Senate Finance Committee, and especially Senators Portman (R-OH) and Cardin (D-MD) for advancing the EARN Act. We certainly hope to see it signed into law this year.”
Notably, a holistic retirement reform package will empower more Americans to meet the challenges of planning for retirement in today’s world by enabling them to save earlier, save at work, access guaranteed lifetime income products, and engage with the best financial security professionals in the nation to ensure they have a plan that works for them.
