“We applaud the leadership of James Dean for his dedication to driving a culture that develops diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the profession,” said Marc Cadin, CEO of Finseca. “We appreciate all he does to elevate this noble work and his continued efforts to take the message of how this profession can advance financial security into more communities – particularly among people of color.”
“I believe in Finseca’s mission to enable more Americans to achieve financial security,” said James Dean, CEO of JD Financial Group and Associates Inc. and proud partner of National Life Group. “As co-founder of Blacks Uplifted in Leadership Development (BUILD), we aim to create ongoing leadership development of Black financial services agents. I’m grateful that I had the opportunity on the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) panel, to share the work happening at Finseca and with BUILD. Much more work is needed, but this is a great step in working through how regulators and the profession are addressing unnecessary obstacles to ensure millions more Americans have financial security for themselves and their families.”
“Finseca strongly supports and is deeply involved in recruitment, retention, and diversity within the financial security profession,” said Melissa Bova, Vice President of State Affairs for Finseca.”We are proud to see members, like James Dean, take leadership on this important issue.”
