NAILBA Committees

NAILBA members interested in joining any of these committees, please email NAILBA  and the appropriate staff liaison and committee chair will contact you. 
  • Industry Affairs: Discuss various industry issues and impact on the brokerage general agency, life insurance and fixed annuity products and services, consumers and industry partners. 

  • Membership Marketing Committee: Help recruit and retain NAILBA member agencies to keep NAILBA vital and perpetual. Review NAILBA’s membership value proposition. 

  • Professional Development Committee: Identify educational priorities for NAILBA. Provide expertise and advice for the identification of needed educational topics and products for NAILBA members, their staffs, and agents. members and others as appropriate. (ASNG, webinars, online education, workbooks, guides, manuals, etc.)

  • Annual Meeting Planning Committee: This committee has overall responsibility for the planning, development, and execution of NAILBA’s Annual Meeting.

  • Public Policy and Advocacy Committee: Provides strategic advice, counsel, and options to the Board of Directors regarding current and emerging public policy issues impacting the life insurance space and how to advance the profession within public policy arenas, including but not limited to legislative and regulatory venues.

Additional standing committees as identified by the NAILBA Bylaws include Audit, Finance/Budget, Investment and Membership (currently Membership Marketing). Further, additional longstanding committees include Awards, Nominating, Editorial Advisory Panel and several Foundation Committees.
