Warren May has spent more than 40 years in this profession. He was also one of the leading voices who helped create Finseca. Warren understands this profession at a level few people do, and he has spent years helping bring it together.
He joined me to talk about the growth of brokerage and what it means for NAILBA 45.
Independent distribution is a critically important part of the life insurance and annuity markets, and NAILBA 45 reflects that growth. Life insurance remains the foundation, while annuities, technology, and AI will have a larger place in the program.
Warren and the NAILBA board are not taking last year’s success for granted. They went back to members, asked what was missing, and used those answers to shape NAILBA 45 and the education offered throughout the year.
Brokerage does not look the same as it did five years ago, and NAILBA 45 has evolved with it. That is good for all of Finseca. Families are facing a widening protection gap, pressure on Social Security, and rising long-term care costs—all at the same time. We will be stronger for what lies ahead if every Finseca community grows and brings its best ideas forward.
If you work in independent distribution, I hope you’ll join us at NAILBA 45.
Together, we are Finseca.
